Tellin Tales takes a fresh look at well-loved children's stories and two brand new pieces. The performances are short, manageable and easily digestible for younger audiences. Finally, an excuse for pregnant women to eat bacon and eggs If you're pregnant and looking for an excuse to eat bacon and eggs, now you've got one: a new research study shows that choline plays a critical role in helping fetal brains develop regions associated with memory. Choline is found in meats, including pork, as well as chicken eggs. http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2010-01/foas-fae010410.php Studies advise on fluoridated toothpaste use in children Parents should use toothpastes that contain fluoride with a minimum concentration of 1,000 parts per million to prevent tooth decay in their children, says a new report. Children's toothpastes range from 100ppm to 1,400ppm fluoride concentration. http://tinyurl.com/ybyaudv White mothers stop breastfeeding too soon The Government recommends that babies should be exclusively breastfed for the first six months of life. But the UK ranks the second lowest among 32 countries in a World Health Organisation report, with a breastfeeding rate at six months of just 21%.
