Toy loan available. http://www.under-fives.org/playgroup.html ___________________________________________________________ Government Money for Pregnant Women ----------------------------------- From April 2009, if you're a mum-to-be you may be able to get a one-off, tax-free payment of £190. It is not means- tested and is available to all over 25-weeks pregnant. The payment is called 'Health in Pregnancy Grant' and is to help you stay well and healthy and to meet extra costs during the later stages of your pregnancy. You can get the Grant if all of the following apply: * you are 25 weeks pregnant or more * your expected date of delivery is on or after 6 April 2009 * you have been given health advice from a midwife or doctor to help you and your unborn baby stay healthy during pregnancy The payment will be on top of any other benefits or tax credits you may get. Everyone will get the same amount - you will not be asked about your income. You can get a Health in Pregnancy Grant claim form from your midwife or doctor. Apply now if you are over 25-weeks pregant. If you have not yet reached 25 weeks you can sign up to be reminded to apply for the grant when you are.
