Teddy Bears' Family Communion Service

Bring a Teddy Bear with you.
Teddy Bears' Picnic
For babies to five year olds. 11.00 am - 1.00pm.
Tuesday 27th July - Ellastone Village Hall
Wednesday 28th July - St John Ambulance Hall
Wednesday 4th August - St John Ambulance Hall
Wednesday 11th August - St John Ambulance Hall.
Music - Singing - Dancing - Picnic
Bring a bear and some sandwiches and join in the fun to a
45 minute music session followed by a picnic designed for
0-5 year olds.
Tea, coffee, and juice will be provided.

Charlie has this little sister Lola. Sometimes he has to
try and get her to go to bed. This is a hard job because
Lola likes to stay up late. Charlie tries everything,
from making three tigers pink milk to shooing whales down
plugholes.
This book is fantastic for 2 - 5 year olds, but at first
glance I wasn't that impressesed. Its distinctive
illustrations took a little getting used to. Lauren
Child employs a mixture of textiles, photos, drawings
and computer artwork. After reading the book a couple of
times though, the pictures seem just perfect.
The proof of any book is does its audience enjoy it? And
my two-year-old loves it. As it ends with Lola going to
bed it's an ideal bedtime read.

What's New at the Web Site?

Ashbourne Swimming Pool
The Ashbourne pool has now re-opened with special sessions
for parents and babies at 12.30-1.30 Tuesdays and
9.30-10.30 Thursdays. An under-9's session occurs on
Saturday afternoons betweeen 1.30 and 2.30.
