In addition, children from eco-friendly cleaner homes were also found to be less likely to become overweight as toddlers.

Breastfeeding better for babies' weight gain than pumping
Research has already shown a link between breastfeeding and a lower obesity risk for babies. But a new study finds another association: "Breast is best" for them even compared with giving babies breast milk out of the bottle. Still, even pumped breast milk was superior to none at all.
Study shows link between breastfeeding and infant health is not straight-forward
A different study though, says that mothers who intended to breastfeed but then couldn't, had children with health outcomes similar to exclusively breastfed infants. The findings suggest that the benefits of breastfeeding reported in the vast majority of prior research could be influenced by the mother's characteristics, such as what they know about health and nutrition.
Midwives call for pregnancy weight targets after study highlights health risks
Eating for two is a myth, say researchers, with mother-to-be weight gain linked to children's insulin resistance and diabetes.
Infant walkers provide no benefit, cause much harm
