   A pre-school offers a range of learning, play and social 
   activities for children aged between around two and five 
   for about 3 hours a day in term time.  Pre-schools are 
   registered and inspected annually by OFSTED to make sure 
   they are appropriately staffed and resourced. More

Nearly New Sale for Childrens' Clothes
  If you would like to sell the things your children have 
  grown out of - Clothes, Toys, Baby Goods, etc - it costs 
  just 10 for a table for you to do so.  Tables 
  can be shared with friends. The sale is in Mayfield

Link between mother's pregnancy diet and offspring's chances of obesity
   Scientists have discovered that a mother's nutrition 
   during pregnancy can strongly influence her child's 
   risk of obesity many years later. The study shows that 
   this effect acts independently of how fat or thin the 
   mother is and of the child's weight at birth.

Screening may spot autism in one-year-olds
   Asking parents a few simple questions about their baby 
   during routine one-year well-baby checks can help spot 
   early autism, say US experts.

'Sleep babies on their back' advice linked to flat head
   Advice to lie babies on their back for sleep to avoid 
   cot death is having a side-effect - more infants now have 
   a flat head as a result, say experts.
