Kids Go Free on Peak Rail's Steam Trains
   On weekends in July each child can travel free on Peak Railís 
   trains when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Trains operate 
   between Rowsley South and Matlock. For full details see

   14th July 2-4 with many games and activities for 
   little ones.

More free early years education for two-year-olds
   The Deputy Prime Minister has announced that an 
   additional 2,000 two-year-olds will be eligible for 
   15 hours of free early years education under a new 
   early intervention scheme.
Even Toddlers Succumb to Peer Pressure
   New research shows that even toddlers have a tendency 
   to follow the crowd. 2-year-olds are more likely to 
   copy actions when they see them repeated by three of 
   their peers, than if they see the same action done by
   one peer three times.  

Children's body fat linked to Vitamin D insufficiency in mothers
   Children are more likely to have more body fat during 
   childhood if their mother has low levels of Vitamin D 
   during pregnancy, according to scientists.
