Book of the Month - Slinky Malinki
by Lynley Dodd
Viking Kestrel Picture Books
ISBN: 0670913510
32 pages
Recommended price: £4.99

Through the day Slinky Malinki is a cheerful and friendly
cat. At night though, he creaps and crawls about
stealing whatever he can get his paws on and dragging it
home to his house on the hill.

This rhyming book appeals to children from a very young
age, but continues to interest them for years. My
little one likes to shout out what Slinki Malinki has
just stolen - from sausages and slippers to biscuits
and balloons.

Attractively illustrated, for ages from one to four.
